Samsung Pay is a digital wallet that allows the clients to use their smartphones for online payments.

Samsung Pay can be enabled for live merchants in the UAE

Please note that Samsung Pay needs to be enabled first by the acquirer bank to enable the service in the PayTabs account.
 
*Samsung Pay is now available for all acquirers using MPGS and Cybersource rails

How to activate Samsung Pay?


To activate Samsung Pay, please send an email to the customer care team ( customercare@paytabs.com ) to raise a request to the bank to enable the service from their end. 
Noting that PayTabs system supports Samsung Pay via SDK only


Once the service is enabled, please follow the integration steps here or check the attached file. 



Activation requirements

  1. Samsung Pay Developer account can be registered from here
  2. Samsung Pay Active Wallet for testing, with active email on Samsung Pay.
  3. Live profile on the PayTabs platform.

Samsung Pay cannot be enabled on Test profiles



Samsung Pay Payment Workflow


Using the Samsung Pay method, when the customer proceeds to the checkout page and chooses Samsung Pay as a payment method, Samsung Pay wallet will show as a popup window to choose the card inside the wallet and complete the payment.
