The new Deposit menu of PayTabs  introduces various disbursement options, giving merchants greater flexibility in managing their account.

One of the latest features introduced by PayTabs is External Payouts which is considered as a disbursement option which allows users to transfer money to their clients/entities, third-party vendors or service providers as a kind of mass distributions which will be done from the merchant's bank accounts and not related to PayTabs transactions or pay-ins. The disbursement can be done in batches, each batch can include multiple requests.

Deposit Home page


Once you navigate to the "Deposit" section via your PayTabs Dashboard, you will be able to see the below screen which outlines your Accounts and Recent Payouts. Which we will explain below in detail.



Deposit Accounts


This section will show your bank account details and their related activity

Once you click on your account ID (highlighted in blue), you will be redirected to another page which will display your Bank Account Currency, IBAN, Account Entries related to this bank account, additionally you will be able to access the below:




  • Account Reports


You will have the opportunity to download a monthly report in an Excel format, detailing the activities conducted during each month.

  • Payouts

Clicking this button will take you to a comprehensive list of all recent payouts associated with this bank account, along with the relevant details for each payout and the updated status.





  • Adjustments (Account's top-up)
     


In the adjustment section, you can either see the list of your latest adjustments with the updated status or add new adjustment (Request Top Up Account)




-How to top-up your account:


To top-up your account's balance you can use the Adjustment button and follow the below steps:


1-Click on the Adjustments button

2-Click on the plus sign " +

 

3-Fill in the " Request Top Up Account" form

  • Amount sent (specify the amount of funds you want to add) 
  • Amount transfer reference (bank slip reference or wire transfer ref)
  • Date of Transfer
  • Merchant Notes (if any additional info on the transfer)



4- Click Submit 



Once the adjustment request is received, PayTabs Finance team will verify if they have received the funds in PT bank account and credit the deposit account with the amount received. You can check the updated status of this Top Up request via the "Adjustments" 




-View Submitted Adjustments

 

Any adjustment you have submitted, will have one of the below statuses:

  • Pending: Submitted and still under the review of the finance team
  • Approved: Reviewed by finance team and approved if you have enough balance
  • Rejected:  Reviewed by finance team and rejected as you don't have enough balance. 




  • Account entries


In this part you will be able to see your account's entries and activities such as Credit adjustments (Topping up your credit) & Payouts.



Recent Payouts


 In the Recent Payouts section, you will be able to see all your Payouts requests history and the status of each request.





  • Upload CSV for Deposit Batches (Bulk Deposit)


If you have multiple deposits to upload, you can utilize this option to conveniently upload a bulk deposit in just a few straightforward steps.

  1. Download the attached sample file. 
  2. Fill in the required fields in the Excel spreadsheet
  3. Fill in the below required data (Order ID & Account ID) 
  4. Upload the sheet you filled in by clicking on Choose File. 
  5. Then hit the Upload button. 

 


Here is how the downloaded sample looks like:





  • Payouts(Payouts History)  

This button will direct you to all your Payouts history where you can view the details of each Payout request:

  • Reference Number for each Payout (Batch ID)
    -You can click on the Batch ID to expand the full details of this Batch with the number of requests included in this batch.


  • The Account ID associated with the relevant bank account
  • The total amount requested; the number of requests included in that Payout
  • The creation date
  • The scheduled date
  • The processing date by the PayTabs Team
  • The updated payout status (whether it is Completed, New, or Failed).






  • Search:


As you can see below, if you have multiple Payouts and need to search for a specific one, you can use this search button to either have a Quick Search option or Advanced search.

  • Add new Batch:



-What is a Batch:


Batch is the amount needs to be paid for one entity, combined from multiple transactions (a daily process)




-Steps of adding new Batch:


1-Choose the Deposit account & the Order ID / name then hit Next.




2-Then you can start adding Requests to this Batch 



3-Next, you will need to fill in the below data, which is the Beneficiary bank account details and contact details, then click Save


 

You can view later the updated status of the request from the Recent payouts tab. 



-Batch status


New
: Created by the MID
Pending: submitted by MID and waiting finance approval
Queued: Approved by finance and waiting to be sent to bank for processing
Processed 
Completed: Applies for failed or successful batches.


If any part of the payout failed for any reason, PayTabs will not reprocess it, and the Batch will be marked as Closed & the Failed request will be marked as Failed. 
In this case Merchant has to re initiate this request separately.
