How to activate STC pay?


Please follow the below instructions for STCpay activation: 


  1. Register through the self onboarding link (https://merchant.stcpay.com.sa/register/en/).
  2. Share the below details with the customer care team (customercare@paytabs.com)
  • PayTabs account MID
  • STCpay MID( Merchant ID)
  • Merchant trading|legal name:    
  • website URL
  • Email address
  • Phone number


Our team will share the above details with STCpay to start the onboarding process and then enable the service on your PayTabs account.

STC Pay Payment Workflow


STC Pay payment flow is hosted by PayTabs. which means that the payment will be managed and processed on our side. 


You can have the same page embedded in your checkout page by following our How to not redirect my customers to an external payment page? (iFrame/Embedded Mode) solution article.


Using the STCPay payment method, when the cardholder proceeds to the checkout page, they will be redirected to the PayTabs payment page to enter the OTP and proceed with the payment



Transactions done using STC Pay will show in the payment method in the transaction detail window





What are the payment features that STC Pay supports?


Using the STC Pay method, you can easily perform "Sale" and "Refund" transactions, but NO Auth/Cap or Recurring transactions are allowed using STC Pay.

The Refund Process Flow


STCpay transactions can be refunded from the PayTabs dashboard by clicking on the transaction ID, and then click on the refund button as shown below or you can perform the refund from the STC pay app directly. 



The Settlement Flow


STC payments payments are directly settled in your STC pay wallet immediately as soon as the payment has passed successfully.
