What's OmanNet?
Oman Net is an Alternative Payment Method(APM) that allows cardholders to use their OmanNet debit cards for online transactions.
Supported Regions
Merchants in Oman can activate OmanNet for payment processing.
Merchant in Oman can also accept payment using credit Cards (visa & MasterCard)
How to Activate OmanNet?
By default, OmanNet is enabled for merchants in Oman
OmanNet Workflow
OmanNet payment flow is hosted by PayTabs.which means that the payment will be managed and processed on our side. Using the OmanNet payment method, when the cardholder processes to the checkout page, they will be redirected to PayTabs payment page to enter card details and complete the payment.the
Transactions done through OmanNet will show in the payment method in the transaction detail window
What are the payment features that OmanNet supports?
The Transaction mode for OmanNet cards is Sale Mode. Auth/Capture mode is not supported.
Enabling recurring payments/Tokenization is possible, but it is subject to acquirer Review and Approval.
The Settlement Flow
Automatic payouts are restricted to a weekly basis (Monday of every week), only when the available/closing balance exceeds the minimum payout amount of $ 300 (120 OMR).
The Refund Process Flow
Refunding OmanNet transactions can be done directly from the PayTabs dashboard.
Simply click on the Transaction ID and then click on the refund button, as demonstrated below:
